Do you feel dry and tired with your 360 lace wig? Will your natural human hair lace front wigs become tricky and unmanageable? This is for those who regularly wear 100% 360 wigs. The better quality 360 wigs are, the more care you can give them and the longer they will last, but this does not protect them from the inevitable deterioration that will occur over time.
Why are our 360 wigs dry and tangled?
There are many different factors that can contribute to this:
Poor hair quality
Lack of natural oil
Exposure to hard water can cause them to dry out or discolor damaged extensions.
Exposure to the sun can damage hair by making it brittle.
Chlorine exposure may also cause hair extensions to become difficult to control.
Exposure to sea water can damage hair extensions, as can hard water and chlorine.
All of these factors came into play to a certain extent, thus affecting 360’s wig quality in two ways. The above reasons have made chemicals percolating easily in the presence of chlorides and minerals. Hard water and sea water are used to make the hair rotate and have natural oils from the smallest peel.
If your 360 lace wig looks tricky to handle, you can bring it to life in a few quick and easy steps.
Step 1: Pre-wash
Recuperate raw hair by applying natural oils ( such as coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil or grapeseed oil ) to the entire 360 wig. Alternatively, apply a moisturizing conditioner to 360 wig. Stay under the shower cap for 30 minutes.
Step 2: Wash your wig
Wash the hair tissue with a moisturizing shampoo, carefully clean the scalp between the tracks with your fingers and rinse thoroughly.
Step 3: Moisturize 360 wigs
Use a moisturizing conditioner from the scalp to the ends of your hair and add additional conditioner to the ends. Let the conditioner stand for two to five minutes, then rinse thoroughly. When rinsing, carefully remove tangles from the knitting fabric with your fingers or comb.
Step 4: Adjust 360 wig
Apply a deep conditioner and let stand for 15 minutes or longer. Wear a shower cap to absorb heat and help with conditioning, or sit under a clothes dryer. After conditioning, rinse thoroughly, unwrap with fingers and squeeze out any excess water.
Comb your hair and let it air-dry for about 15 to 20 minutes, apply moisturizer all over the length and extra energy on both ends, and protect your hair with a dime sized thermal product during styling.
Step 5: Dry the wig
Blow dry your hair with a comb, blow dry 360 wig with low heat, then straighten it with a brush. Use flat iron to straighten your hair, or use a curling iron to hold it in place to create curls and waves. Start at the front of the head and work backwards until the whole head is complete.
Step 6: Go to sleep
rap silk or satin scarves around your head at night to prevent 360 wigs from drying out on cotton pillowcases and sheets. Alternatively, use pillowcases and bed sheets made of silk or satin.
